SELF-LED TOURS

In addition to our dedicated, guided school sessions for large groups, Frameless offers self-led tours for secondary school groups at an attractive discounted rate.

Group sizes must be 30 pupils maximum, with a minimum of 1 member of staff per 10 pupils.

Members of the public will also be in the galleries, and so schools will be expected to manage the behaviour of their pupils to ensure that all visitors are able to enjoy the experience.

Tailored teaching resources will be provided, so that pupils can respond to the work before or after their visit.

Email [email protected] for more information.

Primary schools and those wishing to make large groups bookings will need to book on one of our dedicated guided learning sessions (see below).

GUIDED SCHOOLS TOURS

For a more enhanced experience schools can book one of our guided tours.

These sessions are designed especially for mainstream or SEND providers. Tours takes place on specific dates throughout the year when the galleries are closed to the public. Upon arrival school groups are allocated a dedicated guide from our Learning and Access team. Your guide will lead your group around the galleries, using prompts for discussion and encouraging creative play and responses to the content in the galleries. Schools can book a morning, or an afternoon slot and this opportunity is open to the whole spectrum of learners, from Foundation Stage to Post 16 settings.

There are two offers, one for mainstream schools and one for SEND providers, called ‘Relaxed’ sessions.

For these guided sessions we offer a subsidised rate for education groups with 1 free ticket per 10 booked (with 2 free tickets offered for SEND schools). The dates of these sessions are listed below.

Frameless were thrilled to host a wonderful group of children from SEN schools across London last month, we received amazing feedback from the schools, which really illustrated why these accessible events are so important, one story was particularly poignant…

“one of our pupils who has been selectively non-verbal, turned to his headteacher and said ‘I want to stay at Frameless forever’.” This was the first time the teacher had ever heard him speak and she was very emotional when she told us about this.

Pupils can undertake a storytelling, Audio Described tour, or a BSL tour which can help to express the mood and tone of the content in the galleries.
