Sol Bound I is an immersive digital work by Oslo-based artist Reuko, with an original score by Welsh composer Alex Mills. Presented as a continuous journey through forests, coastlines and vast natural environments, the residency explores the elemental forces that shape our world and humanity’s evolving relationship with nature.
Filmed across remote landscapes and layered with luminous particle simulations, the work reveals hidden currents of light and motion within each environment. A spatial soundscape of synths, strings and subtle field recordings unfolds alongside the visuals, inviting visitors to slow their pace and experience nature through scale, light and sound.
Designed for FRAMELESS’ Blank Canvas Gallery, Sol Bound I unfolds at monumental scale, encouraging visitors to slow down, observe more closely and encounter the natural world from a new perspective.
