Deaf/Hard of Hearing Experiences at FRAMELESS

At FRAMELESS, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all visitors, including those who are d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

We offer British Sign Language (BSL) tours, enhanced support at designated times, and a range of communication tools, including Sign Live tablets and Makaton cards. Our team have undertaken deaf awareness training and are always on hand to assist.

Contact Us Using SignLive

As part of our commitment to being an accessible venue, FRAMELESS have partnered with SignLive, a free British Sign Language interpreter app.

If you are a BSL user, you can use SignLive to connect to us via an Interpreter. Just log in to the SignLive app on iOS, Android, or a web browser and find us in the Community Directory. When you call, ask the Interpreter to connect you to the Learning & Access Team.

British Sign Language (BSL) Tours

Our British Sign Language (BSL) tours, suitable for visitors who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, are hosted by a dedicated British Sign Language guide who leads groups through FRAMELESS while conveying the mood and tone of the music in the Galleries for visitors.

Tour tickets must be booked in advance and participants are eligible for a complimentary, accompanying carer ticket, which must be booked at the same time. If you require any further support or assistance, please email [email protected].

Carer Tickets

You can add a free carer ticket alongside a paid adult or child ticket during the regular checkout process. When booking a free carer ticket, you may be required to show ID upon arrival. We accept the following documents:

  • Attendance Allowance Letter (AA)
  • Carers’ Allowance Letter of Award
  • Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA)
  • Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
  • Valid Blue Badge
