Join us after hours to mark the opening weekend of Sol Bound I – a contemplative digital art residency unfolding inside the Blank Canvas Gallery. As part of the opening weekend programme, visitors will receive a complimentary Sipsmith drink, with a curated Sipsmith cocktail menu available at the Café Bar on Friday evening.

From 27 February

Sol Bound I takes visitors on a nomadic journey across remote landscapes, exploring humanity’s relationship with nature through light, motion and energy. Captured during a series of challenging expeditions, Oslo-based artist Reuko’s landscapes reveal hidden currents of light and energy, forming an immersive world shaped by elemental forces. An original score by Welsh composer Alex Mills weaves together synths, strings and piano motifs, with subtle traces of the natural world to shape a fully multi-sensory journey. Entry is included with standard FRAMELESS admission when our Blank Canvas Gallery is open.

The Whale is a groundbreaking experimental theatre experience that reimagines Moby Dick through live performance, immersive technology, sound and audience exploration. This 25-minute preview sharing invites audiences aged 12+ to step inside a 360° theatrical world featuring world-first spatial creative captioning and award-recognised innovation from the Immersive Arts Prize.

This February half term, much-loved picture book The Colour Monster comes to life at FRAMELESS in a calm, immersive experience where colour, movement and sound help families explore emotions together.
